    Hi Panel--We're headed to WDW in October and we'll be purchasing annual passes. Will the new MagicBands work with annual passes, and if so, do you know if they will be operational by then? I'm excited to give them a try! Thanks!

    Hello Michelle!  Currently, the Magic Bands are being tested with guests at select Walt Disney World Resorts.  You don't mention which resort you are staying at, so I can't really say whether you will be able to test the Magic Bands.  Be sure to register on My Disney Experience so that if you are chosen, you will see a note to customize your Magic Bands in time for your vacation.  I can tell you that Annual Passes can be linked to Magic Bands, as I have linked my family's to our Magic Bands for our upcoming vacation.  It is very exciting, and hopefully in the not-too-distant future, all guests will have the opportunity to use them.
