Hi Moms Panel! We are visiting WDW in Nov and having a tough time making dining reservations. Are there any sit down restaurants that DO NOT take reservations? I'm concerned that our meals will take place on a park bench next to a hot dog stand.

Jen no worries! You will be able to eat some wonderful, delicious meals at Walt Disney World!

While all table service meals do take reservations, you can always ask at the podium it there is last minute availability. If you are willing to wait a little bit for a table your odds increase that you can be seated. Do continue to try to book spots at restaurants you really want to experience. You will find guests cancel a day or so in advance so check right before your arrival to see if any tables have become open. On our last trip we were able to snag several last minute reservations after we arrived.

Remember you may enjoy some great meals at quick service restaurants with no advance planning needed. Just walk up to the counter, order, and then sit down and enjoy your meal. I think you will be quite pleased with the innovative menus some of these eateries offer. Columbia Harbor House in the Magic Kingdom has grilled salmon, Epcot's World Showcase has several quick eateries that offer food with an exotic flair, and Sunshine Seasons in the Land Pavilion has endless creative choices. If you do want a hot dog, check out Casey's Corner on Main Street, U.S.A. for some top notch ones.

If you arrive before November 12 you can enjoy Epcot's International Food and Wine Festival. The World Showcase is full of booths offering amazing cuisine from around the world for you to sample during this event- no reservations required!
