Hi Moms Panel, we are staying at a resort hotel in December, regarding advanced dining reservations, once the 180 (+10) day threshold is reached does the online system allow us to book for the length of our stay or do we have to book by phone?

Hi Ian, and thanks for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel all the way from South Australia!

If you are anything like me, one of the most important aspects of any Walt Disney World Resort vacation is the FOOD! With so many delicious dining experiences throughout the four Theme Parks, Resort hotels, and Disney Springs, I always find narrowing down the list of our family's favorite restaurants the most challenging aspect of our trip planning.

Ian, I am happy to confirm you will most certainly be able to book your dining reservations online, thereby avoiding the need to make long distance calls all the way from South Australia! The booking window for online Disney Dining Reservations opens at 6 a.m. Eastern starting 180 days in advance. If you happen to be staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you receive a little extra pixie dust as you will be able to book dining reservations for your entire stay (up to 10 days) starting 180 days prior to your Resort check-in. This is a great advantage when it comes time to book those sought-after reservations at places like Be Our Guest Restaurant or 'Ohana.

To ensure you are all set and ready to go when your online booking window opens, be sure to link your Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation to your My Disney Experience account. Then, on the appointed day, you can log into your account and start making those all-important dining reservations for what is sure to be a magical trip!

    Bon Appétit!
