    Hi Panel, We are attending the park with a 1 and 3 year old on 11/19 and then considered doing the MVMCP event on 11/21 We have seen conflicting info on a 4pm entry or 7entry-at 4 it makes sense but at 7pm would be tough to justify. Any help appreciated

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Staci ~

    Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP) is a wonderful way to get into the holiday spirit. It is held on select evenings at the Magic Kingdom (MK) from 7 p.m. - midnight and does require a separate special event ticket. On the evenings that it is held, MK closes at 7 p.m. and only those Guests with the special event tickets are allowed to enter or remain in the park once MVMCP begins at 7 p.m. Guests with MVMCP tickets are usually allowed to enter the MK beginning at 4 p.m. but the special MVMCP activities do not begin until 7 p.m. Keep in mind that entering at 4 p.m. is left up to the discretion of your Party Hosts.

    There are some terrific things that happen during MVMCP. The 2014 schedule should be released soon, but here are some of the special activities held in previous years:
    * Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade
    * Holiday Wishes - Celebrate the Spirit of the Season
    * A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas Show
    * Celebrate the Season Show on the Castle Forecourt Stage
    * Character dance parties
    * Special character meet & greets throughout the park. There are usually some characters that appear only during special events. We love taking advantage of getting pictures with them.
    * Treat locations offering hot chocolate and cookies.
    * It snows on Main Street!

    Most of the popular attractions will be open usually with shorter wait times. When my family attends MVMCP, we pick 2 or 3 attractions we want to do the most and then spend the other time focusing more on the special activities that we can't see or do any other time of the year.

    Keep in mind that some MVMCP event dates may sell out early. I would recommend a relaxed day and long nap for little ones leading up to MVMCP so that they do not get overly tired during the party.

    Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison V.
