Hello Moms Panel, Military question for you, we will be traveling with a group in Feb. If we buy tickets on base, will they need to be re-varified once we arrive, if so where? We will be staying at Port Orleans but going to different parks the 1st day.

    Hi, Celeste!

Welcome, and thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question about theme park tickets at the Walt Disney World Resort.

If you purchase Disney 4-Day Military Promotional Tickets, which are sold at participating U.S. military sales outlets, they must also be activated at a theme park ticket window or gate before being used for entrance. All members of your party must be present at this time, including either the military member or their spouse with the appropriate identification. While spouses of eligible members are able to activate the tickets without the member being present, all other family and friends may not. This only needs to be done once before you use the tickets for the first time. However, regular discounted theme park tickets available for purchase on base (which are different from the 4-day promotional offer) don’t require the same activation process.

I hope this information helps you plan, Celeste. Please feel free to write back with any other questions you may have.

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
