Hello Panelists! My family and I are going to stay at Disney's Polynesian Resort from August 29 - September 4. I'd like to do some activities as the resort. Can you give me some clues of things we must see or do at the resort? My girls are 12 and 10. thx!

    Aloha!

The Polynesian Resort is a family favorite of ours and is filled with many activities for both kids and adults to enjoy (please keep in mind that the activities to vary).

Our favorites are the Torch Lighting Ceremony, tiki mask painting, pool games, the campfire sing-along (s'mores!) followed by the Electric Water Parade, and watching fireworks while swimming.  While my children have never participated, they think it's fun to watch the Hula lessons in the lobby, too. Just an fyi, some of these activities do have additional fees. When you check in to the resort, you will be given a guide listing the various activities and times.

We also enjoy renting Sea Raycers, which are little two person boats, to race around the Seven Seas Lagoon.  They can be rented by the marina; bikes can be rented, too!

I'd encourage you to visit www.tikimanpages.com; it has a wealth of information on the Polynesian Resort as well as photos & more information of some of the resort's activities.

    Have a magical trip!
