Hello Panel, I'm planning our WDW vacation for Christmas 2021. We will be traveling with a senior citizen family member and trying to determine if there are elder care services available that would come onsite? Thanks, Sherry

Hello Sherry, and welcome to planDisney! We're so happy that you'll be our guest next December for a visit during the merriest time of year.

My grandparents have always loved Walt Disney World, and my happiest memories with them were made during multi-generational family vacations. When traveling became more difficult for them we made adjustments like renting Electric Conveyance Vehicles and choosing Resort Hotels that put us in close proximity to the theme parks. My grandfather enjoyed the sleek design and modern features of Disney's Contemporary Resort, while my grandmother preferred the ambiance and lakeside serenity of Disney's Beach Club Resort

Sometimes, we need an extra pair of hands while vacationing with the youngest or oldest Mouseketeers. Walt Disney World understands this and recommends an offsite company called Kid's Nite Out for in-room childcare and elder care services. Reservations are available up to three months in advance, and I recommend planning ahead to secure their assistance. Be sure to check the Disney Resort Hotels: Know Before You Go page for updated information as to the availability of these services around this time next year.

Sherry, I hope this helps make your family's trip as magical and enjoyable as possible. As you continue to plan for your very merry getaway, we'd be happy to answer any other questions that may come up. If there is anything we can do to make your stay more memorable, please come back and see us again.
