Hello Panel, I'm planning on shipping packages for Christmas to WDW CBR I was wondering how far in advance ( I was thinking 11/27/17 ship date) is this to early for a 12/19/17 arrival date? Also how long will WDW Resort hold my pacakges ? Thank you!

    Hi DonUlecia!

Shipping packages to your Walt Disney World resort is a convenient way to bring everything you need with you on vacation. This has been particularly true for the parents of children still needing diapers, formula, and baby food.

Please read through the rules for Disney Mail Services. Guests may ship packages to their resort but please understand that there will be a $5 charge per package when you arrive. It is best to keep things in as few boxes as possible. Send them to you at your resort  with the name of the person that the reservation is under. Under your name please note your arrival date. You can find resort addresses on line.

Do not mail anything to arrive more then a week in advance. You will have a better chance of them being misplaces if you mail them too soon. When you check in it should be noted on your reservations if you have packages waiting and if not please ask the front desk to check for you. The Bell Staff will bring them to your room once you are checked-in and given the room assignment.

You should be fine if you would mail packages around 12/10.  Mailing anything on 11/27 would be too early.

Now I have taken my children and grandchildren many times at Christmas and want to offer you an option to shipping a lot of gifts. Please  realize you will have to take time to figure out how to ship excess back home at the end of the vacation. This can be more stressful then it needs to be. What I have done is to take a picture of each gift. I then develop the pictures and put one each in an envelope and wrap the envelope and put a tag on it. That way all you are bringing is a wrapped envelope. Most of the time kids will not have time to play with new toys and just knowing what awaits them at home is exciting too. They will still unwrap but there is no stress with shipping!
