    Hi Panel!!! I'm planning my first trip to Disney World October 2012 . I was just wondering which moderate resort would be best for a 6 and 4yr old? I'm looking for least travel time to the parks and overall feel of the resort (pool and activities). Thanks

    Hi Kimberly!

    My favorite Disney Moderate Resort is Port Orleans Riverside.  I love the theming of that resort, especially the Alligator Bayou section.  I also love the fact that it has a Table Service (full service) restaurant available for dinner in addition to a nice food court.  It also has a lot of services and amenities and a very nice pool, with a relatively long water slide.  My children, ages 7 and 11, really love the pool there.  There's also boat service to Downtown Disney that is very fun and relaxing to do at night.  You can also rent watercraft and bicycles at the resort and even go on a carriage ride!

    There's also cane pole fishing at the resort.  My 7 year old first went fishing there when he was 4 and he talks about it every time we discuss going back to Walt Disney World.
