    Hello Mom's Panel! I'm currently booking my dining reservations for my upcoming Sept trip, and was wondering if you can use a TWL discount on the Fantasmic! Dining Package? Also, is there characters at the lunch seating with the package? Thank you!

    Hey Chantal-

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. All Fantasmic! Dinner Packages are worth their weight in gems according to me and the Seven Dwarfs. Hollywood and Vine, The Brown Derby and Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano are the three restaurants participating in the dinner package. Last summer my extended family of ten made advance dining reservations for the lunch Fantasmic! Dinner Package at Hollywood and Vine. My sons, niece and nephew loved meeting the Disney Junior stars during Disney Junior Play ’n Dine. I thought my niece would never stop hugging Sofia the First. So cute. These wonderful Disney friends join Guests for only breakfast and lunch. The lunch buffet had something for everyone and the desserts where fantasmic.

    There are many benefits and restrictions to a Tables in Wonderland membership. Check out the specifics as they have changed since last year at www.tablesinwonderland.com. At the bottom of the website I found this information, “The Tables in Wonderland discount cannot be used in combination with any other discount and is not valid for Fantasmic Dinner Package, Food and Wine Festival events, Candlelight Packages, or other Special Events.”

    If you want more time for Disney’s Hollywood Studios attractions, want to meet more characters and do not want to show up 60 minutes before Fantasmic! to hold seat then I would definitely do this dinner package. On nights where there are two Fantasmic! shows the dinner package is for the first show. I would also recommend getting a Made with Magic wand or Mickey Ears. They light up in sync with the music. Super fun for kids. Enjoy the feast and Fantasmic!
