Hi Aparna!
Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You're beginning the planning stages for your upcoming Disney Cruise at the perfect time; booking a cruise far in advance gives you the opportunity for the best prices and availability. Another benefit to booking an October 2018 voyage now is that you'll have an entire year to begin planning for all the adventures at sea and ashore!
You asked some fantastic questions. I'm happy to share my opinion with you regarding which itineraries and staterooms would be best for your pirate crew! I recommend setting sail on either a four-night cruise to the
Bahamas or a seven-night cruise to the
Caribbean. Both of these voyages will make a stop at
Disney's private island, Castaway Cay! As for your stateroom selection, I think having two adjoining staterooms will be a great option for your family of swashbuckling buccaneers. With two connecting staterooms, you'll have an extra bathroom and a door separating the two rooms so if the baby needs to take a nap, you can stay with the little munchkin napping while your husband can be with your two toddlers in the adjoining room!
Aparna, you're going to have an unforgettable time sailing the high seas with Captain Mickey no matter which itinerary or stateroom you choose! I hope I was able to help you with your planning! Please don't hesitate to sail back and ask more excellent questions! We're happy to help you navigate through the planning process!
