    Hello Moms Panel! I have heard that there is a mini Mardi Gras parade on Fat Tuesday at Port Orleans Resort every year. Does anyone know what time this event typically starts? I want to avoid booking a dining reservation around that time.

    Hi June! Many guests have returned year after year to celebrate Mardi Gras at the Port Orleans French Quarter Resort. Unfortunately, the celebration was shortened quite a bit in 2016 due to new cast members and changes taking place but they still had the cart parade.

    In the past this parade usually begins at the French Quarter part of the resort around 1:30pm and heads to the Riverside section around 2pm. Hopefully, in 2017 many of the traditional festivities will return to this great resort on this great day. The cart parades have been amazing with up to about ten showing the cast members creative abilities and talents. Nothing has been announced for February yet so we will all have to wait and see what they have planned for 2017 but keep your day open from around 1pm on if you have a chance to see the parade.
