Hi Panel, How much time do you think I should allow to ride the monorail to/from Magic Kingdom to other resorts for dining that are located on the monorail? We've made several reservations at Polynesian, Contemporary, and Grand Floridian. Thanks!

    Hello there Arlene!

Oh boy, do I know this question! I know it because back in June when we were visiting Walt Disney World, we were staying at the Polynesian resort and rode the monorail to Magic Kingdom! well right after the stop at the Grand Floridian resort, I noticed that I had forgotten the park tickets inside a bag which we left in our room. So we had to ride the monorail all the way back to the Polynesian resort. The entire loop takes roughly around twenty minutes. Roughly because, there is no telling if the system will stop for any reason for an extended amount of time. The Resort monorail travels clockwise around the Seven Seas Lagoon stoping at the Contemporary Resort, Ticket and Transportation Center, Polynesian Resort, and Grand Floridian Resort before returning back to the Magic Kingdom front gate. I hope you and your family have a Magical Time at the Walt Disney World Resort! If you have more questions, we are always here to help! Thanks so much for asking the Moms Panel!
