Hi Panel! How does the dining plan work for a split stay? We will be at VWL for 4 nights and BCV for 3 nights, and will have the dining plan for both hotels. Do our dining points expire from our first hotel prior to check out? TIA!!

    Hi Angela,

There is no question that you have a wonderful itinerary in store for your upcoming December visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, including stays at both Disney’s Beach Club Villas and Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. After enjoying a stay on picturesque Crescent Lake, with full access to Stormalong Bay at the Disney’s Beach Club Villas, you will then have the chance to experience the newly re-imagined Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, complete with a new sun deck, pool and dining locations, all of which is slated for opening this summer.

As far as your question regarding the Disney Dining Plan, all dining and snack credits associated with your first stay at Disney’s Beach Club Villas will remain on your account and accessible from your MagicBands throughout your stay up until midnight on the day of check out. Therefore, even after you have checked out of the Beach Club, you will continue to be able to use your dining credits until midnight that evening.

Meanwhile, Disney Dining Plan credits associated with your reservation at Boulder Ridge Villas will be available to start using once you have checked into that Resort. Please note that if you have Dining Plan credits which have not yet expired from your Beach Club reservation when you are checking into Boulder Ridge Villas, you may want to mention this to the Cast Member checking you in so they can ensure that those credits remain on your account after the check in process is complete.

Wishing you a memorable upcoming vacation at the place where the Magic is Endless!
