Hello Diane and thank you for asking the Disney Parks Moms Panel such a super question.
I can just imagine how excited you and your lovely family must be getting about your rapidly approaching holiday this coming June to Walt Disney World Resort.
I had the pleasure of using the fantastic Memory Maker last December; I know you're going to just love it!
I'm delighted to tell you yes you can indeed use a Disney Gift Card to pre-purchase Memory Maker with the flashy bonus of saving $50 if bought 3 days before activation:
Simply visit Purchase Memory Maker and add to cart,
    - confirm Guest name (My Disney Experience),
    - select delivery method - I recommend using Will Call which is a free self collection service,
    - on the payment screen you will find an option to redeem Disney Gift Cards,
    - and then you'll be snahappy that Memory Maker has been purchased!
If I can help you further plan your upcoming holiday to Walt Disney World Resort please come back and ask me another question.
    Have a great Disney day!
    - Jane
