Hi Panel - just wondering - we intend to see illumninations, wishes and fantasmic shows at night on the days we visit those parks..will we have time to go to intl drive to change before shows or is there no point, keep change clothes in car to freshen up?

Hi, Kelly! You are right to make sure you schedule time for Illuminations at Epcot, Magic Kingdom's Wishes Fireworks Show and Fantasmic! at Hollywood Studios -- they are all not-to-miss events! Although you may have aspirations to go back to your hotel to freshen up, you may find yourself caught up in the magic and not wanting to leave -- even to return to your car. Therefore, I would suggest packing a day pack or "park pack" (as I call it) with a few essentials to make you feel like new:

    • Disposable wipes
    • Folding brush/comb/mirror
    • Make up touch ups
    • Clean shirt(s) -- depending on the age and messy factor of those in your traveling party!
    • Body mist -- I recently discovered travel-sized bottles from Bath & Body Works that are great.
    • Travel toothbrush/toothpaste or mouthwash

By sprucing up a bit in the bathrooms at WDW, it will cut down on the travel time back and forth to the car as well as the hotel and allow you more time to enjoy the parks. Plus, once you get there, you'll realize that everyone is in the same boat.  Also, a break at a table-service restaurant will make you feel refreshed and renewed  -- especially one at a nearby WDW resort. I hope this helps you plan!

Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
