    Hello this panel is wonderful. I was wondering is it better to do chef Mickey at the begining or middle of our week long trip. My kids are 6, 4 and 1 we are going to MK our 1st day. We are staying at BV from Sat to Sat. and we have 4 day park hoppers.

    Hi Tandalyn,

    Since you will be visiting the Magic Kingdom on the first day of your trip, I suggest you make reservations for Chef Mickey's that same day.  Disney's Contemporary Resort is just a quick monorail ride away from the Magic Kingdom.  (Chef Mickey's is found on the fourth floor of this iconic resort).  It would be very convenient to either start your day at Chef Mickey's for breakfast before heading to the Magic Kingdom, or exiting the park in the evening to join Mickey and his friends for dinner.  Of course, you could then zip right back to the Magic Kingdom for more fun if you so desired. 

    Since Mickey is so easily recognizable and beloved by all, I think enjoying a meal with him on the first day of your vacation is a great way to launch the trip.  Don't forget to bring your camera and autograph books for the kids.
