Hello moms panel! 4 more weeks to go and I'm trying to make a few last minute plans. I was wondering which buildings at Port Orleans French Quarter have been refurbished and are available for guests. Thanks

Hi, Amanda!  From what I can find, the rooms in Building 7 are complete, and Building 6 is nearing completion, with Building 5 to follow.  I do not know if guests are staying in Building 6 yet, or if it will be closed for a while.

If you Google "Port Orleans French Quarter refurb" you will find some great pictures of the newly remodeled rooms.   They look awesome!

Even if you are unable to get a "new" room, I feel the "old" rooms are still in pretty good condition.  If you feel your room is not up to par, make sure to contact the front desk so they can make your room acceptable for you magical vacation.    Have fun, and make sure to stop by the bakery at your resort for some Beignets - yum!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
