This panel has a wealth of knowledge. We will be going to MVMCP in Dec and I am so comfused as to what we should do. Should we concentrate on the holiday happenings or ride the rides. I have 2 kids with us (3 and 8). Thanks.

    Hi there Deborah!

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is the perfect way to ring in the holiday season, Disney-style!  The park is all decked-out in a sea of lights, ribbon and garland, and Cinderella Castle looks spectacular lit up with "Dream Lights!"  As for whether to focus on attractions or special events, I say, try to do a bit of both!  I had an opportunity to attend the Christmas Party last year and the highlights for me included the "Once Upon a Christmastime Parade", which culminates with a visit from Santa, the Holiday Wishes fireworks spectacular and enjoying hot cocoa and cookies on Main Street while it was "snowing."  However, we also included a few of our favorite rides to top off our evening, and had a wonderful time.  I recommend arriving at the party as early as possible to make the most of your magical holiday evening!

    Happy holidays!
