This panel has a wealth of knowledge so I am hoping you can help me out. I was interested in the give a day get a day promo, but I will not be heading down to WDW until fall. Once I receive a voucher am I guaranteed a ticket or is it first come basis?

    Hi Deborah!

Disney's "Give a Day, Get a Disney Day" is a great opportunity to give back and help people out! My son and I volunteered together in January 2010. We had a great time giving!

To participate in this opportunity, you first need to register at www.disneyparks.com , select a volunteer opportunity, sign up to volunteer, and then actually serve in the volunteer opportunity that you selected. Once your volunteer service is verified, you will receive a voucher in about two weeks. This voucher equals a ticket, so basically if you have a voucher, then you have a ticket. You will have to take your voucher to Guest Services (the Will Call Window) at the front of any of the Walt Disney Theme Parks or Downtown Disney to exchange it for your one day Park ticket. You will need to show a form of identification such as your driver's license or a copy of your Birth Certificate (for children) when you exchange your voucher for a ticket.

I hope that you have a magical time volunteering and an even more magical time using your free Disney ticket!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
