Hi Panel! WDW vacay with my hubby and 7 yr old princess is coming fast! I need help planning our 1st day. We arrive in Orlando at 8am, using ME, staying at POFQ, & have ADR at 1900 PF at 5:30. How would you plan this day to get the most out of it?

    Hi Kendra,

You will soon be arriving at Walt Disney World!  I am so excited for you.  You will probably be at Port Orleans French Quarter around 10:00 am.  I would recommend checking in and storing any carry-on luggage with Bell Services.  The resort will text or phone you when your room is ready, and your luggage from the airport will be delivered to your room.  Since you have Advanced Dining Reservations at 1900 Park Fare, I would recommend going to Magic Kingdom since you will be able to take the Monorail to the Grand Floridian around 5:00 pm.  Another suggestion if you do not want to visit a theme park this day would be to spend the day at Downtown Disney and then taking the bus to the Grand Floridian.  You will have so much fun shopping there.  There is also the AMC Theater Fork & Screen that you can eat lunch at while watching a movie.  I know my girls would love to see "Brave" that way!  I just know your vacation will be magical, Kendra!  Please let me know if I can help you further with your planning!
