Hi Moms Panel! We are wanting to stay at a Disney Resort and also take advantage of the DDP, are we able to purchase discounted Military tickets with this, or do we have to purchase Magic Your Way tickets at normal price because of wanting to add the DDP?

    Hi, Amanda!

I’m so glad to hear you’re planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort, and I have great news for you! Yes, active and retired members of the U.S. military can take advantage of the Disney Dining Plan while using promotional military theme park tickets. If you've already booked your hotel accommodations, you can add a Disney Dining Plan to your reservation by calling (407) W-DISNEY or (407) 934-7639.

If you have not yet booked your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, keep in mind that there are also specially-priced resort rooms available to U.S. military personnel when the reservation is made by Sept. 28, 2013. To check availability and make reservations, call (407) 939-7830. This offer is for active or retired members of the U.S. military, including the National Guard, Reservists and the U.S. Coast Guard. Please be sure to bring valid military identification to present upon check-in at your resort.

Visit the Walt Disney World website for more information on the promotional offers for members of the U.S. military. Please let me know if you have any more questions as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted vacation, Amanda!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
