Hello Mom's Panel! I was wanting to know how much time you recommend for traveling between parks? I will be going on my Honeymoon there and we have the park hopper option. It will just be my new husband and I, no kids in tow.

    Hey Ashtyn!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so happy to answer your question today I hope that I can make your Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning easier.

Travel time between Walt Disney World Resort theme parks depends on whether you will be using the complimentary resort transportation or your own transportation. I always recommend 1-1.5 hours if using complimentary resort transportation and 30 minutes-1 hour if using your own transportation. Please remember to take into account that if you use your own transportation you will need to add the amount of time it takes you to park and walk to the main entrance of the theme park. The reason I recommend setting apart at least 1 hour if using complimentary resort transportation is because it can take 10-30 minutes (depending on how busy the Parks are) for your method of transportation to arrive and then another 15-30 minutes of travel time to the other Parks.

Remember that there are multiple methods of traveling throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. As a Walt Disney World Resort Guest you will be able to travel via bus, boat or the world-famous monorail system. If traveling from Magic Kingdom Park to Epcot or vice-versa, I recommend traveling by monorail.

Quick Tip: Don’t forget to pick up your complimentary “Happily Ever After!” button for some added pixie dust during your honeymoon. You can pick one up at the front desk of any Resort hotel, Guest Relations of any theme park or by asking a friendly Cast Member for one.

Ashtyn, if you have any more questions please do not hesitate to send them my way. I wish you and your husband an amazing honeymoon and many years of wedded bliss!

    Congratulations,

    Priscila
