Hi, Jeff!
October is one of my very favorite months to visit Magic Kingdom Park because I absolutely LOVE Halloween! It's amazing to me to see how the entire Park transforms into a not-so-scary atmosphere right at 7:00 p.m. when the festivities begin.
It sounds like you've got a very magical evening planned too! On nights where
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is held, there are all sorts of dance parties, special photo opportunities with Characters dressed up in their Halloween costumes and lots of trick-or-treating to be had. The experience is very different from what you would experience on any other night. You'll see Guests dressed up in their not-so-scary Halloween costumes and that's one of the best parts! The creativity out there is just awesome! Also, there is a special fireworks display only on Party nights called
Hallowishes. This is by far my favorite fireworks display in all of Walt Disney World!
This Party is a special, hard ticket event, so if you don't have tickets for that evening, you'll need to make your way to the Park exit after you've dined at Cinderella's Royal Table. I would sure consider staying for the Party if you can do it though, especially with your little Princess all dressed up!
I hope this helps, Jeff. Please don't hesitate to write back in if we can help with any other questions you have.
Wishing you and your family a Pixie Dusted vacation!
