Hi Panel! We are vacationing at Disney the last week of August and I was wondering what the weather is like? Is there a lot of rain at that time? Does is rain all day normally? How hot? Thanks for any input. Can't wait to get there!

Hi Lisa, Average temperatures for Orlando in August would be about 93 degrees for a High and possibly as low as 72 degrees for a Low. With this being said, this year seems to be much warmer than usual and the biggest problem is more the humidity rather than the temperature. I would expect it to be very warm and humid if you are planning to go towards the end of August. Normally, it will show rain and thunderstorms on the weather channel, but I can tell you from personal experience that it will not be an all day rain affair, but rather approximately 2 hours each afternoon, a heavy downpour with possible thunder and lightening and then the sun will come out shining brighter than ever again. I usually find this a perfect time to grab some lunch and when it clears up, it's time for more fun and magic!!!!!! Best wishes, Brigitta
