Hi Mom's Panel. in 2015 we'll be using the deluxe dining plan, but I can't eat much due to surgery. Would I be right in saying it would be up to the individual restaurant to allow me to ask for my appetizer to go to eat later? Thank you!

    Hi Brooke,

Yes, you can ask each restaurant individually if you can have your appetizer "to go". If you find that you have any difficulty with that, I would recommend ordering your appetizer with your meal. Then, just opt not to eat it and wait for your main course to arrive. At the end of you meal, you can simply ask them to box up your appetizer in a carryout container. Keep in mind that carrying food around the parks can be less than ideal, particularly given the heat (food can spoil). You'll want to choose items accordingly if you plan to head out to the parks after dinner.

I hope this helps and that you have a wonderful vacation. Please let me know if I can assist you further,
