Hi Moms Panel, Can I upgrade my existing Magic Your Way Park Tickets to Annual Passes before my visit, or do I have to wait until their first use day? Also Does the Annual pass start on the date of purchase, or on the first day it is used?

    Hi there Armanda,

I am so happy to hear you are considering becoming a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder, like myself and so many other happy guests!  In some cases, it really does make lucrative sense to upgrade, especially if you plan to visit the parks another time in the same year!

You will need to visit a Guest Services location at the resort to complete this transaction, but this will be a piece of cake.  There are locations at every theme park, as well as at Disney Springs.  The Annual Pass expiration will be one year from the date of first use, so if you upgrade prior to ever using your Magic Your Way Tickets, it will be the same day you actually use your new Annual Pass for admission.  If you decide to go ahead and use your Magic Your Way tickets for a few days before upgrading to the Annual Passes, your expiration will be the day that your Magic Your Way Ticket was first used, not the day you upgrade to the Annual Pass.  Hope that made sense!

    Best Wishes,

    Amanda F.
