hi panel trying 2 decide where 2 stay poly or pofc 2 ? is there a boat from pofc 2 dtd and which long house @poly is close 2 volcano pool and main building standard view. thanks

    Hi Tina!

That a tough decision! You're talking about two of my absolute favourite resort hotels at Walt Disney World!

Indeed, there is a boat which services both the Port Orleans Resorts - Riverside and French Quarter, and runs down the Sassagoula River to Downtown Disney. The boats operate every 20 minutes prior to 4:30pm and every 10 minutes thereafter.

At Disney's Polynesian Resort, longhouses to consider which would fit your 'requests' would include Samoa, Hawaii and Rarotonga. My top pick in the standard view category would be Rarotonga. In the standard view category, we've requested a top floor, 'monorail view' in this building location in the past and loved it! Nothing beats sitting outside in the evenings and hearing the hum of the monorail as it whizzes past into the Polynesian platform. Pure magic! Rarotonga is also adjacent to the Great Ceremonial House, very close to the bus stops and just a short jaunt to either the quiet pool or Nanea Volcano Pool.

If you have any further questions about these two fantastic resorts, please write me back and I'll be happy to assist you Tina!

Wishing you a simply Magical time as you plan your family's vacation to Walt Disney World!
