    Hi Panel! Our trip is planned for this fall, Sept 29-Oct 6, 2012. As far as the new Fantasyland expansion, do you know if Disney will be opening attractions as they are complete? We sure would love to get in on some of the new things this trip. Thanks alot

    Traveling to Walt Disney World in the fall will be such a treat for you and your family. There are so many great changes going on at the Magic Kingdom for the Fantasyland expansion. So far only the updated Dumbo the Flying Elephant attraction has opened and it looks amazing. Throughout the year attractions will be opening and some guests may be lucky enough to be able to enjoy soft openings prior to openings. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to ride The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Undersea Adventure at the Disneyland Resort and it was such a special moment. While no hard dates for the opening of the next phase of the Fantasyland expansion have been mentioned, keep checking the Disney Parks Blog for updates throughout the summer. Have a magical vacation.
