Hello, Mom's panel. I was just thinking If we were to bring our own light lunch into the magic kingdom, would we be able to sit down at any outside tables from any of the restaurants without ordering? If so which ones? thanks .

    Hi Christine!

Bringing your own snacks, food and drinks is a great way to save money while on vacation at Walt Disney World!  We are always looking for ways to stretch our dollars when visiting Mickey Mouse.

You can certainly eat your lunch at any outside tables, benches or even in the grassy areas at the end of Main Street U.S.A.  There is a nice shady overhang area outside at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe that has ceiling fans, so that's also a nice spot to take a lunch break.  Right outside Pete's Silly Sideshow in the back of Fantasyland has umbrella tables and it's usually pretty quiet in that area as well.

Another great way to save money and help cool you down is asking for complimentary cups of ice water.  They are available at any Quick-Service restaurant or food booth that sells fountain soda.  I'm sure this will come in handy since you're visiting in August!

Please stop back by if you have any additional questions.

    Have a magical day!
