    Hi Panel! Thanks so much for your help in planning our trip to WDW in late Oct. '10. Just wondering if there has been any word yet on when the new Mexican restaurants at World Showcase will be taking reservations. Would love to experience that!

    That's as far as I'm going with my Spanish - my fellow Moms Panielists who are fluent in Spanish get a laugh whenever I try - LOL!  I'm with you - I am looking forward to experiencing La Hacienda de San Angel and La Cantina de San Angel too - I love Mexican food! 

    The Disney Parks Blog featured an update on the restaurants today - click here. Sounds like both are scheduled for a mid-September opening.  The first few weeks will be a "soft opening" meaning no reservations will be taken.  They will soon be accpting reservations for October 15th and after.  I checked online to see if they were accepting reservation and they are not yet.  I also called Disney Dining (407-WDW-DINE) and they are not yet taking reservations yet.  She told me to keep checking back - they hope to be accepting them soon.

    Keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog for updates.  If you are on twitter, follow DisneyParks and WaltDisneyWorld.  I would think they will make an announcement there as well.  You are welcome to check back with us but keep checking with Disney Dining too - I don't want you to miss your window of opportunity.
