Hi Moms Panel, thanks for your earlier answers, we are going to WDW in 2 weeks, it´s our first time , we have 2 boys of 10 and 13 years old, any tips to do , and we are planning swim in the shark reef at TL , it is possible use our own snorkel gear? t

    Hi Mildred,

When you arrive at Typhoon Lagoon's Shark Reef, you'll notice that all needed equipment is provided for you to use free of charge.  If you prefer, you are more than welcome to use your own gear, but flippers are not permitted in the tank.  Most people swim in bare feet, but you can also wear water shoes if you'd like.

This is such a fun experience and great opportunity to get "up close and personal" with several varieties of sharks.  A great way to take a break from the watersides and wave pool too!

    Best Wishes,

    Amanda F.
