Hello moms panel! Thanks for all the amazing help and advice! I love in Southern California and for years have wanted to do MNSSHP, but the only Halloween tickets I see are for California adventure. Is there no Halloween event at Disneyland this year?

Greetings, Marlene, and thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I love seeing questions from my fellow Southern Californians… it’s great to have you here!

This year, the Disneyland Resort has introduced an all-new Halloween experience, called Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party. This spook-tacular celebration is taking place on select days in September and October in Disney California Adventure Park. So, the frightful fun has moved from Disneyland Park to Disney California Adventure Park this year. Here at the Panel, we’re so excited for the new additions to the Halloween Party, including the exclusive World of Color show, “Villainous!” and the Disney Villains walk-through experience, featuring surprises around every turn!

Not to worry, though, there are still many of the same elements from previous Halloween Parties at the Resort, including the tempting candy cauldrons at treat stations located throughout the theme park, and the Frightfully Fun Parade, featuring favorite Disney Characters ready to wish you a happy howl-o-ween! Also, over at Disneyland Park, you can still find classic Halloween Time experiences, such as Haunted Mansion Holiday and the Main Street Pumpkin Festival. Just keep in mind that you'll need a separate ticket for admission to Disneyland Park.

With an Oogie Boogie Bash ticket, you’ll be able to enter Disney California Adventure Park up to four hours before the Party begins. Once the Party starts, you’ll be treated to five hours of entertainment, Character Greetings, themed attractions, and more. Tickets tend to sell out as September approaches, so I’d recommend purchasing tickets as soon as you’re ready. I’d hate for you to miss out on this mischievous mayhem!

Wishing you a day filled with Disney magic and happy haunts!

My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A.
