Hello Panel, Could you tell me the differences between MNSSHP at Disneyland and Disneyworld? Also, are there rides and attractions that close down while the party is on? Thank you!

    Hi Kelly!

Great question, one I was wondering myself.  I’ve been to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Disney World a few times, but never to Disneyland.  I found this great site, complete with pictures that will tell you a bunch of the differences!  http://tinyurl.com/42872ov

I have heard the main difference is that the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland magically changes to incorporate The Nightmare Before Christmas characters and decorations.  Disney World does not change the inside of the ride.

The website says the candy at Disneyland is far superior, but I do remember getting lots of name brand chocolate candy in our trick-or-treat bags at Disney World.

All of the rides have been open the few times I have been at the party, unless it’s a ride that happens to already be closed for maintenance.

    Happy haunting!
