Hi Panel! Taking our 1st trip to WDW in late Aug. w/ my wife, 10yr son and 6yr old daughter. I'm a 40yr old type 1 diabetic. My concern is standing for long periods of time while on line. Would I be able to get a Guest Assistance Card? Thanks

Hi, John!  You can absolutely obtain a Guest Assistance Card when you arrive at the theme parks.  Just let them know at Guest Services that your diabetes makes standing long periods of time very difficult, and when you visit the attractions, the cast members will usually know right away how to best accommodate you.

In some instances, they will allow you access to the Fast Pass line with your Guest Assistance Card to minimize your wait.  In other instances, they may just ask you to sit in an area outside the line while you wait your turn for a show or attraction.  I have always had very accommodating Cast Members whenever my family has utilized a Guest Assistance Card.

I hope your family has a wonderful time at Walt Disney World!
