Hello Moms Panel! DH and I are taking our first trip to WDW 11/28 - 12/4 and staying at POFQ. We kindly requested a King size bed for our stay, but was wondering if there are specific buildings we can request. Closer to buses, food, etc. Can you help?

    Hi Aundrea!

Port Orleans French Quarter is the smallest of the Disney Moderate Resorts.  All of the buildings are pretty close to the main building where you would find the front lobby, food court, and the only bus stop at Port Orleans French Quarter.  That said, there are obviously some buildings that are closer than others.  However, I don't recommend requesting a certain building.  Instead, I recommend putting a request that simply says you would like a room closest to the main building.  If you request a specific building and that building is full, the Disney Cast Member helping you doesn't really know what you requested a specific building; by specifying what is really important to you in a more generic way, you are more likely to get it!

Be sure to visit Downtown Disney using the boat service from Port Orleans French Quarter.  It is a fun and relaxing way to get down there.  Also, remember that you can use all of the services and amenities of Port Orleans Riverside, including the pool.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
