Hi moms panel! We will be taking our first family Disney trip in a few weeks and staying at the Caribbean Resort. I am trying to plan out the best transportation routes to all of our destinations and was wondering if the busses follow a certain route?

    Hi Jessica,

Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is a beautiful tropical lakeside paradise and is in a great location near to Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Downtown Disney.

It is a large resort with all resort guest rooms arranged into 6 villages:- Trinidad North, Trinidad South, Martinique, Barbados, Aruba and Jamaica. Each village has its own pool, white sand beach with hammocks and playground, laundry facilities, bus stop and parking area.

The hub of the resort is Old Port Royale which features the main pool, water slide, bicycle and boat rentals, games arcade, shops, food court and sit down restaurant.

Buses to and from the theme parks and Downtown Disney make stops at Old Port Royale and at all of the 6 villages. Some buses begin the loop at Martinique and continue to Old Port Royale, Trinidad North, Trinidad South, Jamaica, Aruba, and finally Barbados before exiting the resort. Other buses begin at Jamaica and continue to Aruba, Barbados, Martinique, Old Port Royale, Trinidad North, and Trinidad South.

To help you with your planning further, there is a fantastic transportation wizard tool which I like to use available at www.ourlaughingplace.com.

It allows you to enter where you will be travelling to and from within Walt Disney World and then provides details on the best route(s) to take as well as giving an indication of the amount of time that the journey will take. I would add an extra 20 minutes onto each estimated time to allow for the time which may be spent waiting for your designated mode of transport to arrive.

Wishing you a magical trip filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
