Hello Panel - We are surprising our 6 yr old with a trip to WDW in June 2015 visiting HS on 6/11. Is there a place where we can see the main characters in their Star Wars attire or do we need to have ADR for this opportunity? Thank you so much.

    Hi Anna Marie,
Star Wars Weekends is a fantastic way to see many of your favorite characters from this amazing movie saga. There are photo opportunities with Darth Vader while in Disney's Hollywood Studios that you can take advantage of without a dining reservation but you will have to stand in line (and as of last year, there was no FastPass+ available for this opportunity). I've seen Storm Troopers and Boba Fett mingling around, ready for pictures by the Studio Catering Company dining area. I would suggest picking up a Times Guide as you enter the park for availability, locations and times of your favorite characters.

The Star Wars meal events (such as the Dine-In Galactic Breakfast, available only with an Advanced Dining Reservation) are a very efficient way to ensure that you get to meet, greet and have photos with some of your favorite Star Wars characters-and enjoy a delicious meal, all at the same time!!

Anna Marie, I hope your family has a great time at Star Wars Weekends!!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy B.
