Hi Panel!! We will be staying at POFQ in Oct/13. How long does it take to get to each park using disney transporation? I'm allocating 1 hour each way? And a random question - can I purchase bread from the POFQ gift shop? Thanks so much!

Angela, you have picked a fabulous resort. The beautiful landscaping and intimate feel of this smaller resort will make you feel you are at a beautiful Southern home instead of minutes away from the world's most popular theme park.

An hour of travel time to and from the parks is a good estimate. If you have a reservation, allow an hour and half so you will have plenty of time to wait for a bus, enter the park, and walk to your restaurant or appointment. Sometimes everything will flow perfectly and you will be in a park in only thirty minutes, but always plan on an hour.

Bread, along with milk, t shirts, suntan lotion, Diet Coke, and almost anything you forgot at home will be available at the Jackson Square shop.

Please contact me if you have any additional questions about your October vacation. Be sure to take a ride down the turquoise sea serpent water slide at the Doubloon Lagoon pool!
