Hi Panel, We will staying off site for our first trip to WDW in January and I don't know the layout very good. Can we go to Chip n Dale's Campfire Sing Along on a day we don't go to the parks or do we have to use our entrance tickets to go to it?

    Hi Sharon ~

We had a great time at Chip 'n Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long on our last family trip. Its at the campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness (FW) and no theme park tickets are required to go. Its free to all Guests staying on or off property.

To get there, you'll need to drive to FW. If you're going through the Magic Kingdom (MK) entrance, stay to the far right (but not the extreme far right which is the bus lane) and tell the Cast Member at the parking plaza that you're going to FW and you will not be required to pay parking for the MK lot. When you leave the parking plaza stay straight instead of going left towards the MK parking lot and follow the signs for FW (it will be on your right).

Once you arrive at FW, tell the Cast Member at the entrance that you're going to Chip 'n Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long. You'll have to park at the Outpost and take an internal bus to the Meadow Trading Post. Unless they've changed the routes since our visit, we took the yellow bus loop to stop 1500. You can confirm this with the bus driver. They also have maps at the bus stops.

Once you get off the bus, the campfire is located behind the Meadow Trading Post. Go across the bridge and past the pool. You'll see the outdoor theater - you can't miss it. The seating is stadium style and much larger than I expected.

Allow yourself 30 - 45 minutes once you arrive at FW to reach the Meadow Trading Post. You can find the nightly schedule at the link shown above. Make sure you're there when it starts so you'll be sure to catch Chip 'n Dale.

Here is some info about the snack options at Chip 'n Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
