Hi Panel! We are staying at AKL and have to choose between Jiko and Boma to dine at for our last night, and have kids ages 2 and 4. With all of our other reservations, it'll be our first time at either. What is your recommendation?

Hi Shannon! You have chosen two outstanding Disney dining locations! It's extremely difficult for me to recommend one over the other as they offer two vastly different dining experiences. Jiko - The Cooking Place is a Disney Signature restaurant featuring an eclectic menu showcasing a fusion of African, Asian, and Mediterranean cuisines. Take a look at the sample Dinner Menu for adults and the sample Kids Menu. Your other option, Boma - Flavors of Africa, offers African-inspired tantalizing delectable dishes in a family-friendly buffet-style restaurant. May I suggest making Advanced Dining Reservations (ADR) for breakfast at Boma - Flavors of Africa and booking dinner at Jiko - The Cooking Place? That's what I do when staying in the amazingly themed Animal Kingdom Lodge! Be sure to book ADR by calling (407) WDW-DINE or reserve online. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you. Enjoy a most memorable visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
