Hi Diane,
Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. We on the panel love helping guests to plan magical vacations!
My family and I love a stay at
Disney's Old Key West Resort. The feel is laid-back. Something about the theme of the Florida Keys seems to put everyone in a relaxed mood! The studios and villas at this resort are quite spacious, which is great when you are looking to spend more time in your accommodations.
Disney's Saratoga Spring Resort & Spa is also a lovely resort, with theme of a days-gone-by rural resort in New York. If I were choosing between the two resorts, I would choose Disney's Old Key West Resort, because I prefer the theme and the larger accommodations there.
If you are booking as a Disney Vacation Club member using vacation points, you will need to wait until eleven months ahead of your check-in date to book if the resort that you want is your home resort, and seven months ahead if it is not your home resort. You can book online at the
Disney Vacation Club member website, or by calling Disney Vacation Club Member Services at 1-800-800-9800.
If you are looking for a reservation made using a traditional payment method such as a credit card, currently online you can book Disney resorts through the end of 2016. If you are looking for a room-only reservation, you can make these up to 499 days in advance. In order to do so for 2017 currently, you will need to call Disney in the United States at 407-W-DISNEY (407-934-7639), or in the UK at 0800 16 90 730.
Please do let us know if you have any further questions, Diane!
