Hi mom's panel. I have a special needs son and would love for him to ride Soarin'.I am concerned that the lap belt may not keep him secure if he tries to reach for the pictures he sees. Are any of the seats equipted with a 5 point harness? Thanks!

    Hi Rebecca!

Ok, I'll admit it...  I reach for the screen EVERY time that I ride Soarin'!!!  The images are just so realistic and breathtaking that they practically beg for guests to reach out and try to touch them.  This is completely to be expected and all chairs are equipped with a lap belt that can be threaded through a loop in between your legs.  There is not a chair equipped with a 5 point harness that I know of; however, the seat belts are more than secure.  The belt is equipped to not unlock (even if pressed) while in "flight."  If you are still unsure, I would have a Cast Member explain the restraint system to you and your son.  Enjoy the flight
