    This panel is sooo helpful. ? Can you get a to-go box from a buffet if you don't finish your meal? Thanks for this and all the questions y'all answer to get us through the planning process. Doreen

    Hi Doreen,

    This is kind of tricky to answer and I'll tell you why.....generally, the answer would be no.  I will however tell you that on one occasion my daughter was not feeling good at all and she had her whole plate full with fruit and such items.  They told me that they would make an exception and give me a "to go" box so I could put her food from the plate in it to take with me for her later on (she hadn't eaten anything at all yet from the buffet).  They took the container from me and asked me to get it from the cast member at the podium when leaving so other guests would not think that they could also ask for "to go" containers as well.  It was done very discreetly and I only did it because I didn't want to see them throw all that good food away.

    So, I am pretty sure you are asking in general terms here and the answer would be no, they don't do "to go" containers for buffets that I know of, but I wanted to let you know that certain exceptions are accommodated if necessary.
