Hi mom's panel! I just scored a Wishes dessert party reserv. for Thanksgiving day! Any ideas on what items will be on the buffet? Also we will be celebrating DD 7 birthday can we have a cake or anything special done for her at that time?

    Hi Lindsay!

Watching Wishes while enjoying dessert sounds like a truly wonderful end to your Thanksgiving Day!

The dessert party was a lot of fun when we did it a couple of weeks ago. Instead of spending time saving a good viewing spot, you're able to sit and relax while enjoying some really delicious dessert. When we attended, the buffet was stocked full with a wide assortment of things like chocolate chip cookies, mango shooters, mini creme brulee, bite sized cheesecakes (chocolate and plain), fresh sliced fruit and much, much more. There are also beverages available including coffee, hot tea, iced tea, lemonade and ice water.

To find out if you can have a custom cake served, give the cake hotline a call at 407-827-2253 and follow the prompts for the Magic Kingdom. However, since there are already so many desserts available at the party, you might want to consider ordering a cake for one of your other meals during your trip.

I hope this helps! Enjoy your celebration at Disney World!
