Hi Panel, my DH and I are returning to Disney World mid August. My question is if you are doing a reserved seating for a 9:00pm Fantasmic! show is there enough time to see the Star Wars fireworks at 9:30? Not overly concerned with viewing location. Thank

    Hi, Barbara!

There is so much after-dark fun happening all around the Walt Disney Resort, it is hard to pick which nighttime spectacular to choose!

The Fantasmic! show lasts approximately 30 minutes. With Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular starting at 9:30, you will just not be able to make it in time to see the projection show. During the exit from the Fantasmic! amphitheater, you may catch some glimpses of the fireworks high in the sky, but you certainly will not get the feeling of the "force" as you would if you were up close to the Great Movie Ride area where the projections are done.

My suggestion is to simply enjoy Fantasmic! with your prince charming, and do not rush. There is no way to do everything at Walt Disney World in one trip, so decide on your itinerary and just enjoy it!

Other magical nighttime events include "IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth" in Epcot, the new fireworks show "Happily Ever After" in the Magic Kingdom, and Rivers of Light in Disney's Animal Kingdom. Whew, that's lots of busy nights! Mid-day breaks have never been so important!

Wishing you evenings full of magic during your visit to Walt Disney World.

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
