    Hi, Panel! We have a 7:15am reservation for Chef Mickey's. We will be taking Disney transportation, how early will the buses run to the Magic Kingdom if it opens at 9:00am? Thank you!

    Hi Leah! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    Chef Mickey’s Fun Time Buffet at Disney’s Contemporary Resort is my kid’s favorite place to have a character breakfast! They absolutely love the kid’s food station and they get so excited to meet their favorite characters all in one place. They love parading around the restaurant waving their napkins in the air!

    Early dining reservations can be tricky when relying on Disney bus transportation. Disney bus transportation typically tends to begin running from the resort hotels to the parks approximately one hour prior to park opening. So if Magic Kingdom Park opens at 9:00am, you can expect that bus transportation will begin around 8:00am. Make sure to also look into whether or not the park offers Extra Magic Hours in the morning because that will give you additional time to get to the restaurant. If you have a car you could always drive, or you also could call for a taxi (these can be pricey.)
