Hi panel! What would you recommend as best things to do with DD7 and DD2 in Disney Springs? Arriving Feb 2017, non-park day w/ Mickey's Backyard BBQ already booked for dinner. Thanks!!

    Hi Allyssa,

You have come to the right place. We here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel love to help guests get the most out of their vacations by offering our tips and suggestions. The newly re-imagined Disney Springs is a great place to spend a non-park day. It is always fun to take a day off from the parks to enjoy a different kind of fun.

Our family usually does a non-park day in the middle or at the end of our trips and here are a few places they always love.
    • Marketplace Carousel is great for little ones. Enjoy a nostalgic spin on the carousel before or after shopping in the ever popular Once Upon a Toy and World of Disney.
    • Splitsville Luxury Lanes has 30 lanes of bowling fun. The food is top-notch, too. It is not your average bowling alley grub with lots of kids favorites and their filet sliders are my personal favorite.
    • DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive Theme Park is five stories of fun. While your 2 year old might not get as much out of it, your older daughter could enjoy things such as virtual attractions and the animation academy. Keep in mind there is a separate admission cost for this.
    • There are various venues for outdoor entertainment that change daily. As you stroll around, there will be lots of opportunities for you to watch or listen to musicians, bands, and visiting entertainers.

In addition there are lots of shops to browse for souvenirs and dining options for a quick or leisurely lunch. Enjoy your "day off" from the hustle and bustle of the theme parks.
