Welcome back to planDisney, Kristen!
Thank you for stopping by once again with a great question. In just a couple of months, you will be making new Disney memories at the Walt Disney World Resort!
One of my absolute favorite
benefits while staying at a Disney Resort hotel is enjoying
complimentary transportation to travel to and from the theme parks, water parks, and Disney Springs. My family loves to explore the different transportation options available to Guests, and this is a great activity for one of those days you do not have plans to visit the parks.
I am happy to share that
bus service between Disney Resort hotels and the theme parks begins approximately 45 minutes before opening and ends about one hour after closing. I recommend using the
My Disney Experience mobile app during your stay to check when the next bus is leaving your Resort hotel. Simply tap your active resort reservation, and tap
See Bus Times to see when the next bus is expected to arrive at your hotel and the estimated time you will reach your destination. I love this feature because it allows me to spend more time in my room and less time waiting at the bus stop. Bus
transportation between Disney Springs and Resort hotels usually begins 30 minutes before opening and ends one hour and 30 minutes after close. Please note that bus service from the theme parks to Disney Springs is not available.
You can check theme park and Disney Springs
hours of operation online or using the My Disney Experience mobile app. I also use the app for updated information on how to get from one park to another. The most direct route may involve a combination of bus, monorail, boat, Skyliner, or walking. You can also ask a Cast Member at park entrance for assistance, and please note that complimentary resort transportation, including the
Disney Skyliner, begins approximately 45 minutes before park opening time and runs up to 1 hour after park closing time.
I hope this information is helpful, Kristen! It was a pleasure answering your question, please come back real soon if you have additional questions.
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
