Hello panel, I have a question about the Very Merry Christmas Party. Why are seperate tickets needed for this event? Isn't it a christmas parade? Is the parade in a special part of the park for ticket holders only?

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is much more than a parade!

It is an "after hours" party limited to guests who purchase tickets to attend this special event. On party nights, the Magic Kingdom closes at 7 p.m,. and all guests not wearing a MVMCP wristband that shows that they paid admission to the party, are politely directed to the exit.

At 7 p.m., the party begins.

You'll see characters in their holiday attire such as Santa Goofy.

Complimentary treats are given out at several locations. These yummy treats include hot cocoa with marshmallows, cookies, sliced apples and apple juice.

It's the only time of the year that it snows on Main Street. Watching my son try to catch snowflakes and dance to the Christmas music with the lights of Main Street sparkling in his eyes is one of my favorite memories.

You will be treated to special shows, fireworks and a parade that are not seen by guests during the regular park hours.

In between the scheduled festivities, you can also enjoy your favorite attractions. Carolers on Main Street and character dance parties add even more fun to the evening. Watching your child dance with a favorite character is a delightful way to get in the holiday spirit.

    Don't forget to visit Santa.

Wear Santa mickey hats and have your family pose for your holiday portrait.
